The 37th Annual Chicago GhanaFest® unfolds on Saturday, July 25, 2026, delivering a full day of ceremony, culture, music, and community pride. From sunrise protocols to the final closing dance, Washington Park will host thousands of patrons celebrating Ghana’s heritage in its most vibrant form.

Morning Protocols and Opening Ceremonies

9:45 a.m. – Park Clearance
All patrons must exit the grounds for mandatory check‑in. No exceptions.

10:00 a.m. – Park Opens
Guests enter and take their seats.
