The Vice President, Professor Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang, joined the students and staff of the New Horizon Special School for their annual Fun Day Games on Friday morning.
During the event, the Vice President observed various sporting activities and games, noting that the students displayed remarkable talents that underscore the importance of providing specialized care and inclusive opportunities for children with special needs.
In her remarks following the activities, Professor Opoku-Agyemang expressed deep inspiration at the enthusiasm shown by the participants. She highlighted that the successes witnessed on the field were a direct result of the right support, training, and environment.
The Vice President emphasized that the performance of the students serves as a powerful reminder of what individuals can achieve when society invests in their unique abilities.
The Vice President also extended her gratitude to the caregivers, families, and school staff who work behind the scenes to facilitate such programs.
