Under the leadership of GNC President Effah Ameyaw, GhanaFest enters a new era. This year marks President Ameyaw’s first festival at the helm, and he has made it clear that the 37th edition will not merely meet expectations , it will surpass all.

Opening Night: The GhanaFest Business Forum
The grand weekend begins on Friday, July 24, 2026, from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM, with an evening devoted to trade, investment, and bilateral economic advancement between Ghana and the United States. Hosted at the Kennedy King College Gymnasium (6343 S. Halsted St., Chicago, IL 60621), the GhanaFest Business Forum offers free admission and complimentary hors d’oeuvres.

In collaboration with the National Identification Authority (NIA) and Identity Management Systems II, the GNC will provide on‑site biometric capture and card issuance for the Ghana Card.
