In a time when information moves swiftly and public discourse is increasingly shaped by digital platforms, it is deeply troubling to witness the deliberate spread of falsehoods aimed at damaging the reputation of distinguished public servants. Over the past days, a series of fabricated messages has circulated on social media, each crafted with the clear intention of maligning the character of Ghana’s Minister of Tourism, Culture and Creative Arts and two‑term Member of Parliament for Ketu South, Honorable Ablah Dzifa Gomashie.

These messages are not misunderstandings, nor are they the product of political debate. They are calculated untruths, created by individuals who have chosen deception over integrity and malice over responsible engagement. Their actions reflect a level of desperation that should concern every Ghanaian who values truth and decency in public life.

Honorable Dzifa Gomashie has, for decades, exemplified dignity, compassion, and national unity. Her friendships and professional relationships extend across every region and ethnic group in Ghana, including Akan, Hausa, Krobo, and Nzema communities. She serves her nation with grace, humility, and unwavering dedication. Those who know her, whether personally or through her public service, understand that the crude and divisive language being attributed to her is entirely inconsistent with her character.

It is unfortunate that some individuals believe the Ghanaian public can be swayed by such fabrications. They underestimate the discernment of a nation that has grown wiser, more informed, and more capable of distinguishing truth from manipulation. Ghanaians recognize when tribal sentiments are being exploited for political gain, and they understand when falsehoods are being used as a substitute for genuine leadership.

The creators of these false messages represent a fading political culture, one rooted in division, character assassination, and the hope that chaos will overshadow competence. Their tactics belong to an era that Ghana must leave behind, especially as the nation embraces a renewed spirit of unity and purpose under the Reset Agenda championed by President Mahama. This agenda calls on all citizens to contribute meaningfully to national progress, not to drag the country backward through reckless and harmful behavior.

To those responsible for these fabrications, it must be said plainly that your efforts will not succeed. A reputation built on decades of service cannot be undone by a few days of manufactured controversy. A life lived with integrity cannot be overshadowed by the actions of those who fear accountability. Honorable Ablah Dzifa Gomashie remains steadfast, her character unblemished, and her commitment to Ghana unwavering.

The Ghanaian people stand with truth, with dignity, and with leaders who embody these values. As a nation, we must reject the politics of division and uphold the principles that strengthen our democracy and our shared future.

Ghana is better than this.
We are better than this.

The NPP is vile, vicious and evil since the days before the ideas of Independence in Ghana and had since made moves and actions which has reversed the gains our beloved Ghana has made! Unfortunately, even though the NDC has an unusually large majority in Parliament they’re weak and couldn’t enforce the power given them to correct these anomalies! They have become rather friendly with them as the NPP continued with their nefarious activities! This kind of Democracy that we’re developing would keep Ghana underdeveloped!
