The Social Security and National Insurance Trust (SSNIT) has issued a strong warning to the public about a fraudulent flyer circulating online that falsely claims employers and employees must make deposits to complete a “mandatory SSNIT enrollment verification.”

SSNIT has categorically stated that these claims are entirely false. The institution emphasized that it does not charge any fees or require deposits for enrolment, registration, or verification. All SSNIT services , including enrollment and record verification ,are completely free of charge.

“SSNIT does NOT charge for enrolment or verification. It’s FREE. Don’t pay. Don’t get scammed,” the notice stressed.

The fake flyer, which has been stamped “FAKE” in SSNIT’s official disclaimer, lists supposed payment levels and verification fees , all of which are fabricated. SSNIT urges Ghanaians to ignore such misinformation and to verify all official communications directly through its legitimate channels.

Official SSNIT Contact Information

SSNIT encourages the public to rely solely on its verified platforms for accurate information and to report any suspicious messages or flyers immediately.
