The boys’ cross‑country event at the 61st Annual Inter‑Schools Sports Festival delivered a fierce contest of endurance, strategy, and school pride, culminating in a decisive victory for Keta Business College (KETABUSCO). With an impressive 19 points, Ketabusco outpaced the field to secure first place and reaffirm its growing reputation as a long‑distance powerhouse.
Zion College (ZICO) followed strongly in second place with 29 points, demonstrating consistency across their lineup. ANSECO claimed third with 60 points, edging out KETASCO, who finished fourth with 71 points after a spirited effort.
The middle of the table saw AFIASEC in fifth with 96 points, while ABORSCO and ANYASCO tied on 113 points, separated only by performance differentials. TSAMESCO placed eighth with 133 points, and ATHASEC finished ninth with 155 points.
VOLTASCO did not compete in the boys’ cross‑country event.
The results reflect not only the athletic depth of the participating schools but also the rising competitiveness of the zone’s endurance events. Ketabusco’s victory, built on discipline and tactical running, sets a high bar for future editions of the festival.
