Accra, October 3, 2025 — In a landmark move to empower women and promote road safety, Vivo Energy Ghana has launched She’llFix, a groundbreaking initiative designed to equip female drivers with practical car maintenance skills. The launch event, held at the Shell Airport City service station in Accra, drew participants from across the country, including female motorists, industry stakeholders, and media representatives.
Anchored in Vivo Energy’s core values, Safety, Excellence, Caring, Respect, and Integrity—She’llFix is an extension of the company’s flagship diversity and inclusion programme, ShePower. It reflects Vivo Energy Ghana’s commitment to creating real impact for its customers and the communities it serves.
The event featured hands-on demonstrations in basic vehicle care, including how to check oil levels, jump-start a battery, and manage common roadside challenges. Participants were also educated on the importance of selecting the right fuels and lubricants, with Shell’s premium products highlighted as essential for engine protection and long-term vehicle health.
A session titled “The Police and You” offered experiential insights into road safety and civic engagement, while an exhibition walkthrough allowed attendees to interact with car care experts and explore product displays.
In his keynote address, Mr. Christian Li, Managing Director of Vivo Energy Ghana, emphasized the company’s dedication to empowering women through knowledge and inclusion.
“She’llFix brings our values to life by equipping women with the skills to drive safely, confidently, and independently,” he stated. “It is our way of saying—we see you, we respect you, and we believe in your potential.”
Madam Esther Ambah Numaba Cobbah, President of the Institute of Public Relations (IPR) Ghana, served as Guest of Honour and commended the initiative.
“I sense that Vivo Energy is an organisation that seeks to showcase the capabilities of women in even technical areas in society,” she remarked. “She’llFix will change perceptions and empower women to manage their vehicles with confidence.”
Adding a touch of celebration, the event included a “Spin the Wheel” segment where participants won Shell cards, insurance discounts, branded souvenirs, and complimentary makeovers.
She’llFix stands as a testament to Vivo Energy Ghana’s vision of becoming Africa’s most respected energy business—one that fuels not only vehicles, but also confidence, independence, and progress.
