The Asanteman Association of Chicago & Midwest has officially launched a vibrant and heartfelt fundraising campaign in anticipation of one of its most culturally significant events: the Outdooring of its newly enstooled Chief, Queen Mother, Subchiefs, and Subqueens. Set to take place in May 2026, this majestic ceremony will honor tradition, unity, and leadership within the Ghanaian diaspora. The leadership , elders and members are rallying together to make it unforgettable.

Under the theme “Sei Kutuu, Sei Bam”, a call to rise together in dignity and strength, the Association is inviting individuals, families, and businesses to become part of this historic moment through tailored sponsorship packages. These offerings are not just transactional; they’re transformational. Each tier provides meaningful opportunities to support cultural preservation while gaining visibility and recognition within a proud and growing community.

From Platinum Sponsors who receive VIP access and speaking opportunities, to Silver Sponsors honored by the Master of Ceremonies, every contribution helps defray the costs of this elaborate two-day celebration. The event will feature traditional rites, a Kente gala, and the unveiling of Ashanti House, a permanent cultural and learning center in Chicago.

In addition to sponsorships, the Association is offering brochure advertisement options for families and businesses who wish to be part of the commemorative publication. Whether it’s a full-page family photo or a quarter-page business ad, each submission will be part of a legacy that celebrates heritage, leadership, and communal pride.

“This is more than a fundraiser, it’s a cultural renaissance,” said organizers. “We’re not just crowning leaders; we’re investing in the future of our community.”
