Their collective decision to adopt the Home Economics Department stands as one of the most heartening examples of alumni-driven development , an act that resonates deeply as ZICO prepares to celebrate its 90th anniversary next year.
The initiative brought together classmates from across the globe, stretching from the United States to Australia, South Sudan, and Ghana. After thoughtful deliberations, the group agreed to support the Home Economics Department with essential equipment to enhance teaching and practical learning for current students.
On Friday, February 21, 2020, the Class of ’75 presented the school with a set of vital items, including:
Two gas cylinders
Two four-burner gas cookers
Four taps
Two complete wash basins with fittings
