The National Identification Authority (NIA) has officially opened applications for various temporary positions to support its upcoming mass registration exercise for children aged 6 to 14 years.
This nationwide initiative is designed to integrate eligible children into the National Identity Register, further strengthening Ghana’s identification infrastructure.
The authority is seeking qualified individuals to fill several key roles, including Technical Support Officers, Commissioners for Oath, Card Verification Officers, Mobile Registration Workstation Operators, and Registration Officers. These positions are offered on a temporary contract basis specifically for the duration of the registration project.
Interested candidates are required to submit their applications exclusively through the official NIA recruitment portal at https://recruitment.nia.gov.gh/. The NIA has set a strict deadline for all submissions, which must be completed on or before March 22, 2026. Applicants are reminded to review all job requirements carefully on the portal and are required to provide a clear photograph for verification purposes during the process.
In a cautionary statement accompanying the announcement, the NIA emphasized that it does not charge any fees for recruitment. The public is advised to remain vigilant against fraudsters and unauthorized agents claiming to represent the authority. All legitimate recruitment activities will be conducted solely through the official online portal.
