The National Democratic Congress has issued a formal seasonal greeting to Ghanaians both at home and in the diaspora to mark the Christmas and New Year festivities. In a statement signed by the General Secretary, Fiifi Fiavi Kwetey, the party encouraged citizens to reflect on the core values of the season, specifically highlighting compassion, sacrifice, peace, and gratitude as the nation commemorates the birth of Jesus Christ.
The message also serves as a significant milestone for the party, marking exactly one year since the NDC was entrusted with the mandate to govern. The leadership acknowledged the weight of this responsibility and stated that the government remains resolute in its mission to translate its political vision into tangible improvements for the populace. Reflecting on its first year in office, the NDC noted that it has taken deliberate actions aimed at restoring public confidence in governance, stabilizing the national economy, and prioritizing social protection and institutional accountability.
Looking ahead to the coming year, the party reaffirmed its dedication to its governing mandate with a specific focus on accelerating economic recovery and creating employment opportunities for the youth.
