Accra has welcomed a bold new addition to its urban landscape as Chicago‑based industrialist, businessman, and philanthropist Mr. Musah Trawill expands his celebrated brand, Mr. Candy Ghana, with two new outlets in the capital city. The first is located at Kwame Nkrumah Memorial Park, while the second, situated in Osu, has already become a landmark as Ghana’s first fully operational 24‑hour recreational park.

The expansion comes as Mr. Candy Ghana celebrates 18 years of uninterrupted service, a milestone that reflects the brand’s resilience, innovation, and deep connection to its customers. The new Osu outlet aligns with President John Mahama’s renewed national agenda and his widely talked about 24‑hour economic policy, which encourages businesses to extend operations and stimulate round‑the‑clock economic activity.

In addition to the Osu park, the brand has also opened another outlet at the Kwame Nkrumah Memorial Park, though this location does not operate on a 24‑hour schedule.

The newly launched Nationalism Park in Osu stands out as a signature achievement. Positioned near the Ghana Independence Monument at Independence Square, the park is designed as a living tribute to Ghana’s heritage, celebrating the nation’s identity, resilience, and collective aspirations. Patrons are greeted by a striking neon installation in the national colors, red, gold, and green, boldly declaring “I ❤️ Ghana.”

Nationalism Park offers a wide range of amenities, making it a vibrant destination for families, tourists, and night‑time explorers. Guests can enjoy:

  • A diverse menu of meals, snacks, and beverages
  • Breakfast options, popcorn, ice cream, cotton candy, and cookies
  • A multi‑cuisine restaurant
  • A fully equipped children’s playground, including jumping castles and other recreational features
  • Souvenirs such as mugs and memorabilia proudly inscribed with messages like “I Love Ghana,” “Proud to Be a Ghanaian,” and “December in Ghana”

The park’s spectacular night view has quickly become a talking point, offering Accra a new 24‑hour leisure destination that blends culture, entertainment, and national pride.

Mr. Trawill expressed heartfelt gratitude to all who have supported his vision from its inception, acknowledging the community, customers, and partners who have fueled the brand’s growth. He reaffirmed his commitment to creating spaces that uplift Ghana’s image and provide meaningful experiences for all.

As Accra embraces this pioneering 24‑hour recreational hub, Nationalism Park stands as a testament to what visionary entrepreneurship can achieve, honoring the past, energizing the present, and inspiring the future.
