Ketu South witnessed a powerful close to the year as its Member of Parliament, Hon. Abla Dzifa Gomashie, embarked on a heartfelt tour across the municipality, thanking her people, renewing her mandate of service, and highlighting the steady progress unfolding across the constituency.
In a vibrant show of accessibility and accountability, the MP engaged residents on all four major radio stations in the municipality, sharing updates, listening to concerns, and reaffirming her commitment to the development of Ketu South. She was joined by the Municipal Chief Executive, Hon. Nicholas Kwabla Worclachie, as the two leaders extended warm wishes to constituents for the year ahead.
Hon. Gomashie also held a special series of interactions with all 2,511 delegates, meeting each group with respect, gratitude, and renewed partnership. Her outreach extended to the elderly and differently abled, as she presented thoughtful gifts to over 150 senior citizens and vulnerable constituents across the municipality, an act that resonated deeply with families and communities.
Reflecting on the overwhelming support she received in the 2025 elections, the MP described the endorsement as “a moment that blew my mind,” emphasizing that the trust reposed in her only strengthens her resolve to fight for the dignity, development, and future of Ketu South.
Across the municipality, major development projects continue to advance steadily:
- Sea Defense Project – progressing with renewed momentum
- Ho–Aflao Road – ongoing and visibly transforming mobility
- Ashigame Project – set to take off
- Dogbeykope Clinic – steadily advancing
- Akaglakope School Building – progressing
- Avoeme Basic School – ongoing
- Ziormè School Project – also moving forward
These projects, she noted, are not just infrastructure, they are investments in safety, education, health, and opportunity for generations to come.
As she looked ahead, Hon. Gomashie offered a confident, forward‑looking message:
“2026 will have a lot to say.”
With her characteristic blend of humility, passion, and unwavering dedication, the MP signaled that the coming year will bring even greater strides for Ketu South, anchored in unity, service, and the collective will of its people.
