President Laura Cynthia Boakye led the meeting with an update on the Association’s new zoning structure, designed to streamline coordination and strengthen engagement across the membership. She encouraged members to complete their registration forms and fulfill their dues as preparations intensify for GNAI’s anniversary celebration in October. Members who have not yet purchased the official cloth were reminded to do so.

President Boakye described the Association’s packed March schedule as “March Madness,” highlighting the upcoming educational session on hypertension scheduled for March 15 via Zoom, organized by the executives.

Organizers Mrs. Mary Sogbe and Ms. Alice Laabi briefed members on plans for GNAI’s inaugural celebration, set for October 9–11, and urged members to reserve the dates for what is expected to be a major milestone in the Association’s history.

The president also announced progress on the development of GNAI’s new app and website, noting that Patron Mr. Ntow has covered six months of subscription costs to support the project.

In a call for community solidarity, President Boakye encouraged members to attend the Ghana National Council’s Independence Celebration on March 14 in Chicago. The GNC Vice President, who is also a GNAI member, addressed the meeting and spoke about the significance of the event.

Special guest Desmond Ampaw Asiedu, representing GN Bank, provided updates on the bank’s expansion efforts and available loan services.

Adding a vibrant cultural touch to the gathering, members took time to socialize in recognition of Ghana’s Independence Day and their shared heritage. Many arrived in beautiful traditional outfits, creating a colorful atmosphere that celebrated identity and pride. The meet‑and‑greet session reached a lively peak as attendees connected over King Paluta’s popular hit “Ewoorme,” turning the moment into a joyful blend of camaraderie, music, and cultural expression.

The meeting concluded with an announcement that GNAI’s next meeting will be held via Zoom on April 12, 2026.
