In a message shared on social media platforms, the Vice President of the Ghana National Council and Clinical Director of Operations of The Ghanaian Community Health Clinic, Dr. Eunice Cromwell, notified the Community of a new Board of Directors to oversee operations of the Clinic.

- Dr. Jamilah Okoe, Assistant Medical Director
- Dr. Habiba Seidu-Fuseini, Health Education Director
- Dr. Chris Chalokwu, Laboratory Director
- Mrs. Linda Korsah-Osafo, Medical Social Services Director
- Mr. Wayne Mulenga, Clinic Manager
- Mr. Kwabena Appiah, Pharmacy Director
The clinic’s mission is to serve people without essential healthcare and provide preventative management, with a vision of quality, evidence-based healthcare and access to comprehensive, high-quality health care.
The Providers are committed to providing comprehensive healthcare to the community, with a team of experts available to address individual needs. Located in Chicago’s southside, it is unique because it includes members across various disciplines in health care, including medicine, nursing, pharmacy, and social services. It seeks first to address the healthcare needs of the underserved.

The announcement also states that the clinic offers various services, including medication brown bag and delivery services with HomeRx Pharmacy, weight/BMI, nutritional counseling, OB/GYN counseling, hypertension, diabetes, and cholesterol screening and management. Travel medicine consultation, mental health counseling, pediatrics and urology, benefits enrollment, labs, COVID testing with Medical assays, and COVID-19 vaccinations are other services rendered by the clinic.
The Ghanaian Community Health Clinic, as explained by the Clinical Director, is a volunteer-based health center that operates on the second Saturday of every month. Its service locations are rotated to reach out to other underserved areas in the community. There are resources for the uninsured and underserved.
The next in-person clinic is on Saturday, April 13, 2024, at the Presbyterian Church of Ghana, Redemption congregation,741 E. 84th Street, Chicago, IL, 11:00 am-3:00 pm.
