To come from Ghana, raise your kids, raise your grandkids, and teach us more about ourselves and our culture than we could ever learn on our own. This sucks, but I’m at peace knowing you’re at peace. I love you, Grandma.

An elder in the Ghanaian community here, Nii Okine of Bolingbrook, wrote: May her beautiful soul rest in peace.

The president of the Brong-Ahafo Association and the Ghana National Council Treasurer, Benjamin Kodom-Ayensu, wrote: Our condolences to the family. May her soul rest in peace.
