I will advise that the council members vote wisely and don’t turn this beautiful organization over to politicians in our midst. People should run on a record. What is their record ?
To me, the candidate who champions and dedicates a strategic foresight to the idea of working tirelessly to obtaining a GhanaHouse is my candidate.
We must not forget that the former GhanaHouse Acquisition Committee had already setup a nonprofit organization and obtained a tax-exempt status from the IRS under the Ghana National Council. We must therefore not allow the tax exempt organizations to elapse. We may not have the funds to build a GhanaHouse from ground up as the original blueprint and attempt failed us . However, nothing prevents the GNC from through the already established Ghana-House corporation and tax- exempt organization renting halls and adding a profit oriented
fee before re-renting it out weekly.
Should we forge this strategy, little by little we should be able to save and forge a renewed strategy for a future acquisition of a Ghana-House!
My support will therefore go to a candidate with the desire, determination and the willingness to attempt this bold strategic acquisition effort.
