A court has imposed a 10‑day interim injunction restraining former Member of Parliament Sarah Adwoa Safo from undertaking any funeral arrangements for the late Apostle Emeritus Dr. Kwadwo Safo Kantanka, pending the resolution of an ongoing legal dispute over authority and control of the burial processes. Lawyer Kofi Sarfo Kantanka confirmed the directive and stressed that all parties must comply fully, warning that any breach would amount to contempt of court.
“We will implement the orders from the court, and anybody who flouts it will be in contempt of the court,” he stated.

The injunction comes at a time when the nation continues to reflect on the extraordinary life of Apostle Emeritus Dr. Kwadwo Safo Kantanka, the celebrated inventor, industrialist, philanthropist, and founder of the Kristo Asafo Mission and the Kantanka Group of Companies. Born on October 26, 1948, he rose from humble beginnings in Krobo to become a symbol of Ghanaian innovation, pioneering work in automobile manufacturing, robotics, agricultural machinery, and military prototypes. Through the Kristo Asafo Mission, he trained thousands of young people, supported communities, and championed technological independence. His passing in July 2024 marked the end of an era, leaving behind a legacy of invention, spiritual leadership, and national pride.
