Zion College (ZICO) , has secured its spot in the National Championship of the National Science and Maths Quiz (NSMQ) following a decisive victory in the regional qualifiers.
In a high-stakes contest of speed, accuracy, and academic grit, ZICO dominated the scoreboard from the start, leaving their competitors struggling to catch up.
Final Scores:
- Zion College (ZICO): 45 points
- Abor Senior High School: 31 points
- Sokode Senior High Technical School: 22 points
ZICO’s impressive 45-point finish sealed their victory over Abor SHS (31 points) and Sokode SHTS (22 points), punching their ticket to the national stage. Supporters, students, and alumni have flooded social media to celebrate the victory as the team prepares to represent the region on the national stage.
Upon hearing the fantastic news of Zion College qualifying for the national championship, the Global President of NAFRICANS, Professor Mawuli Sallar , has pledged a personal donation of 1,000 GHC to motivate the team!
