  1. This Life!

Life is a Flash – A Reflection on Humility and Legacy

Life is but a fleeting moment – a flash in the vast expanse of time. In the blink of an eye, we arrive, we exist, and then we are gone. The brevity of our existence begs the question: Why do we cling to pride and boastfulness? Why do we strut through our days as if we own eternity when, in truth, our time is but a whisper in the wind?

The world moves on, indifferent to our triumphs and struggles. Kings and paupers alike return to dust, their wealth and power meaningless in the face of time’s relentless march. If this is so, then what is the value of arrogance? What purpose does vanity serve when the grave knows no hierarchy?

Let us instead walk with humility, remembering those who came before us – our dearly revered comrades, whose lives, though extinguished, still glow in our memories. May their souls rest in peace, their deeds honored not with empty pride, but with quiet reverence. Let their legacy remind us that true greatness lies not in self-aggrandizement, but in kindness, courage, and the quiet dignity of a life well-lived.

So, while we are here, let us shed the weight of ego. Let us live with purpose, love fiercely, and leave behind something more lasting than boasts – something that outshines even the brightest flash of life.

_Rest in peace, dear departed. Your light lingers._
