Team ZICO is in full gear as preparations heighten for the 61st Inter‑School Sports and Games Competition, to be jointly hosted by Anlo SHS and Zion College. The video below captures the determination and discipline of their young athletes as they train rigorously for this major regional contest.
The school’s Sports Committee has already begun structured training sessions to ensure ZICO fields a competitive and well‑prepared team. However, despite the enthusiasm and commitment of both coaches and athletes, the school continues to face significant shortages in essential sporting equipment. Items urgently needed include volleyballs and nets, table tennis balls and rackets, handball nets, footballs, whistles, running spikes, and javelins for both boys and girls.
In light of these challenges, the Sports Committee is appealing to all Old Students and well‑wishers to support the team. Any contribution, big or small, will go a long way toward empowering our athletes and strengthening ZICO’s performance on the field.
The competition kicks off on 28th February 2026 and runs through 7th March 2026. With collective support, Team ZICO can step onto the field fully equipped and ready to make the school proud.
