In a heartfelt afternoon of accolades and reflection, the Zico Old Students Association hosted a landmark awards luncheon in Accra, celebrating outstanding alumni whose dedication continues to shape the school’s legacy.
Presided over by Professor Anthony Mawuli Sallar (’75), the event honored both past and present trailblazers, including a solemn tribute to the late Professor Emeritus Divine Edem Amenumey. Sallar’s stirring keynote challenged attendees to reimagine alumni engagement through unity, innovation, and bold vision. “Ask not what ZICO can do for you, but what you can do for ZICO,” he echoed, channeling a call to action.
With new initiatives such as a Council of Elders and revitalized alumni structures already underway, the event became more than a celebration—it marked a pivotal stride toward preserving ZICO’s heritage and charting its future.
We proudly present below a collection of moments from the awards presentation—snapshots of legacy in motion.
