More than 350 youth delegates from 52 countries gathered at the World Health Organization’s headquarters in Geneva for the first-ever Global Model WHO conference. This landmark event simulated the World Health Assembly, enabling young leaders to tackle pressing global health issues and foster international collaboration.
Delegates drafted resolutions on climate change, mental health, and pandemics, culminating in a declaration calling for a global Pandemic Agreement. WHO Director-General Dr. Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus praised the youth delegates’ dedication to global health advocacy.
