I am a known restaurateur and a known foodie (I love food). I was trained very well in cooking by Mama. My family, friends and clients will attest to the fact that I am a very good cook.
I have noticed with grave concern that there is a certain level of selfishness and unfettered greed among some of those who are feeding us from the farm (fishing, livestock, etc) to the food we buy.
There is definitely a lot of chemicals in the vegetables that we buy. There’s no inspection of the places where livestock is reared. There’s no report to us consumers on what is wholesome and what is not.
This koobi has a pinkish tinge on it. I noticed it started changing colour 2 days after I bought it. I brought it into the sun and not a single fly settled on it. In recent times flies are afraid of our koobi, momoni and smoked fish.
If you were born in the 60’s, it should come to you as a surprise that flies will not settle on koobi and momoni. I asked a couple of sellers of koobi and momoni and their answers are that they add the chemicals so the koobi and momoni can last for a year or more.
This murder! We are being killed slowly.
I need my koobi and momoni preserved with only salt, la.
SAVE US!
