In a gesture of goodwill and cooperation, the Turkish Ambassador to Ghana, H.E. Hüseyin Güngör, paid a courtesy call on King Tackie Teiko Tsuru II, the Ga Mantse. During the visit, Ambassador Güngör commended the King for his tireless efforts in driving development and spearheading numerous social projects in the traditional area.
The Ambassador expressed his desire to collaborate with the King in key areas such as education and trade, with the ultimate goal of making a positive impact on the lives of the people. This proposed partnership is expected to foster greater cooperation and understanding between Turkey and Ghana, particularly in the traditional area.
However, Ambassador Güngör also used the opportunity to appeal to the King to intervene in some pressing issues affecting Turkish businesses operating in the traditional area. Specifically, he sought the King’s assistance in resolving disputes between these businesses and certain traditional authorities.
This courtesy call is not an isolated incident, as King Tackie Teiko Tsuru II has been receiving visits from various dignitaries, including the CEO of MTN Ghana, who paid a courtesy call on the King to strengthen the longstanding relationship between MTN Ghana and the traditional area.
