Carter’s devotion to democracy and human rights resonated deeply with the people of Ghana, reflecting his belief in shared values that bind us all.
President Carter’s legacy extends far beyond his political career. He was a champion of human rights, a passionate advocate for global health, and a devoted husband and family man. His post-presidency was marked by a continued commitment to public service, with his work through the Carter Centre having a lasting impact on the world.
