On behalf of the Ghanaian Chieftaincy Council of Chicago, we are saddened to hear of the loss of our dear colleague, Nana Akwasi Appiah, the former Asantefuohene of Chicago. It is with tears to say that the icy cold touch of death has laid its hands on one of our own, Nana Akwasi Appiah .
Nana Akwasi was very visible and his presence was felt within the entire community, especially at our annual Ghana fest during his reign.
We pray that God who giveth and taketh grant us comfort at this difficult time.
