Chicago July 15, 2022: Togbi Nyaho Tamakloe VI, Miafiaga of the Anlo Kingdom, Paramount Chief of Kome, Shime, and other traditional areas in the Anloga District, Dufia of Whuti and the Head of the Adzovia Clan (Owners of the Anlo Kingdom Stool) arrived today to coronate Civil Rights Icon, Reverend Jesse Jackson Sr. Operation Rainbow Push , 930 E 50th Street Chicago Illinois. He will be assisted by the Chief, Queenmothers, and elders of the Ewe Association of Chicago and other chiefs and queens in the Chicago area.
The event, dubbed “The Exchange Ceremony” is sponsored by the Progressive minds show and the Rainbow Push coalition to celebrate the rich culture of the African and Black Diaspora and honor leaders dedicated to building communities.
The Tayui family organized a dinner in honor of Togbui Tamakloe at their residence. It is remarkable to note that the family hosted President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo a few years back at the same residence . The Glorious Betson kids astounded the audience with a wonderful display of traditional and contemporary recitals.
