We, members of the Women’s wing of the NDC in the USA are so excited on hearing the news of the nomination and acceptance by Prof. Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang as the Running Mate of H.E John Dramani Mahama.
Our Mother, Prof Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang, congratulations! You’ve made us proud again, just as you did in your exemplary leadership as a Vice Chancellor and Minister of Education, as well as in all other spheres of your career. A woman of substance, with so much honesty, who has always placed country over self interest has indeed taken her proper place in Ghana’s political history.
We, the women of the NDC in the USA fully support you and shall do what ever we can to ensure NDC’s Victory on December 7th, 2020 with you as the first ever female Vice President of the Republic of Ghana.
We, as well as women all over the world are encouraged by your nomination and further emboldened to take centre stage in the development of nations. Our belief that it takes a women to pull us all together for the betterment of a country has also been strengthened. Prof, we find that woman in you and it shall come to pass.
Prof. Naana, congratulations once again, God bless you, God bless the NDC and our Flagbearer for choosing you, to honour the women folk of our nation.
H. E John Mahama and NDC have done their part, it’s now up to us to rally behind this ticket and deliver a resounding victory in December 7, 2020, general election.
Let’s make this history come to pass and surely we will.
