TEMA — The Tema Regional Police Command on Thursday, July 24, 2025, recovered an AK-47 assault rifle that was abandoned by two unknown individuals near the Tema General Hospital.
Police officers on patrol noticed a parked motorbike and two people acting suspiciously. As the officers approached, the suspects fled the scene, leaving behind a sack. Upon inspection, the police discovered a loaded AK-47 assault rifle inside the sack.
The weapon has been secured, and the Tema Regional Police Command has initiated an investigation to identify and apprehend the suspects.
