Accra, Ghana – A luxurious mansion owned by renowned Ghanaian actress Jackie Appiah caught fire last night.
The incident occurred while Appiah was out of town, unaware of the situation. A concerned neighbor captured the fire in a viral video, pleading for the Ghana National Fire Service to intervene.
The video sparked widespread concern among fans and well-wishers. However, Appiah has since confirmed that the fire was contained to the outdoor cinema house and did not affect the main residence.
“Thank you everyone for your concern and calls,” Appiah said. “I’m grateful to report that the fire was containedā¦ Thankfully, only the cinema room was affected, and the main house remains unscathed.”
Appiah’s confirmation brought relief to her fans, who expressed gratitude that the damage was minimal and no one was harmed.
An investigation into the cause of the fire is pending.
