Nadowli, Ghana – In a historic ceremony, Speaker of Parliament Alban Bagbin officially commissioned the state-of-the-art Macoy Sports Stadium in Nadowli, a project he personally initiated and supported.
The stadium, built in collaboration with Ghana Gas and Wembley Sports Construction, boasts world-class amenities and a substantial seating capacity, poised to revolutionize sports development in the region.
Addressing the gathering, Speaker Bagbin declared the stadium a “gift to the entire nation,” symbolizing what can be achieved through collective effort and dedication.
The commissioning ceremony featured an exciting football match between the “Bagbin 11” team and a squad of former Black Stars players, led by Stephen Appiah, with the “Bagbin 11” team emerging victorious.
The stadium will serve as a hub for local athletes, host competitive matches, and accommodate community events, embodying Speaker Bagbin’s vision for promoting development and social cohesion through sports.
