ACCRA — In a symbolic display of inter-governmental camaraderie, Speaker of Parliament Alban Bagbin and Acting Chief Justice Paul Baffoe-Bonnie took to the field to lead their respective teams in the curtain-raiser match for the Democracy Cup 2025. The event, held on Friday, September 5, served as a highly anticipated highlight of the day’s festivities, drawing attention to the cooperative spirit between Ghana’s legislative and judicial branches.
The match pitted a team from the Parliamentary Service, captained by Speaker Bagbin, against a Judiciary Service team led by Acting Chief Justice Baffoe-Bonnie.
