He was quickly whisked off stage and initially confirmed to be “fine,” although he had blood on his face. Later, various news sources claim that the former president has been injured . Another person at the rally, who remains unidentified, was killed in the shooting.
Law enforcement officials are investigating this incident as an attempted assassination of the former president and presumptive Republican nominee.
The shooter, who was not an attendee at the rally, was killed by U.S. Secret Service agents.
