“Rise” features powerful, uplifting lyrics, calling on communities across the Black diaspora to unite and imagine the possibilities of true liberation and freedom.
Dawuni describes the song as a “rhythmic call to arms to elevate the energy of hope” and “a soundtrack for these turbulent times.”
