PRESIDENT AKUFO ADDO TOGETHER WITH PARLIAMENT ENDORSES ALAN’S MOTTO OF “GHANA WILL RISE AGAIN.
The President, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo, delivered the State of the Nations Address to the parliament of Ghana today the 27th of February,2024.
The address which was delayed with reasons only best known to the President was more of the usual old story of attributing the bad performance of the economy to Covid-19 as well as the Russia-Ukraine war though Ukraine that was heavily involved in the war has its economy currently experiencing positive growth as a result of good management.
The President who repeated most of the issues as carried in his previous addresses also tried very hard to explain his role as the President and and that of his Vice President.In as much as he tried distancing the Vice President from decision making,he ended up drawing the Vice President into the decision making process by inferring that “It is only an unwise President who does not take advise”.
Concluding on his address,the President stressed that Ghana Shall surely rise again,a motto which is used by the leader of the movement for change.
The speaker of parliament also re-echoed the motto that Ghana might be down,but will surely rise again.
The President and for that matter parliament therefore agrees with Mr.Kyerematen that with the right leadership,Ghana shall surely rise again.
