The Presidency hosted an Iftar at the Flagstaff House, bringing together members of the Muslim community during Ramadan. The National Chief Imam, Sheikh Osmanu Nuhu Sharubutu, was present at the occasion. The event was a moment for the community to come together and break their fast.

Iftar, which means “break of a fast” in Arabic, is the meal eaten by Muslims after sunset during the month of Ramadan. It is a time for families and communities to come together and share a meal, marking the end of the day’s fasting.

The Presidency welcomed the guests and expressed their appreciation for the community’s presence. The National Chief Imam led the prayers and gave a blessing. The guests then broke their fast and shared a meal together.

This gathering reaffirmed Ghana’s commitment to governance. The event demonstrated the country’s ability to come together and celebrate its diversity. As the nation observes Ramadan, may the values of service to humanity continue to guide us.

The Iftar at the Flagstaff House was a meaningful event that brought people together. It was a reminder of the importance of community and the values that unite us.
