The Black Stars of Ghana on Tuesday held a final training session in Accra ahead of the trip to South Africa to face the Bafana Bafana in the qualifiers to next year’s Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) tournament.
The Stars are scheduled to play their final two matches in the qualifiers to the next year’s AFCON tournament later this month.
Ahead of the first of the encounters on Thursday, March 25, 2021, Coach CK Akonnor has invited 29 players to prepare for the game.
Having trained for the first time on Monday, the Black Stars team has today had another session at the Accra Sports Stadium.
The team is expected to depart Ghana later this evening for South Africa where they will have the chance to hold another training session on Wednesday before the clash the following day.
The match against the Bafana Bafana will be played in Johannesburg with the winner set to have the better chance of finishing Group C of the AFCON qualifiers as winners.
