The performance tracker captured a Gari Processing Centre at Amankwakrom under the One District One Factory initiative.
According to the website (performancetracker.gov.gh), the Construction of the 1no Gari Processing Centre at Amankwakrom in the Kwahu Afram Plains North District in the Eastern Region is 100% completed.
The project, which was not inherited, has 2022 as the year of start but failed to indicate when it was completed. The people of Amankwakrom are said to be the beneficiaries of the project.
A visit to the place by Afram Plains Stories revealed an abandoned project, left to rot and has been taken over by weeds.
The structure, per our checks, does not qualify to be considered anything near completion.
