The event attracted members of the community who showed up in their numbers to grace the grand opening and be part of a historic experience.


The grocery store is a proud family-run neighborhood business that carries the largest selection of food products and others from West Africa. They have an extensive selection of bread and produce, smoked fish, Ghanaian yams and Thai rice. Chicago’s newest supermarket will also stock and offer shoppers a wide range of items such as fufu powder, banku mix, apapransa flour mix, millet banku flour, Hausa Koko flour, plantain, fufu mix, palm oil, a variety of fish, different alcoholic beverages, and products from Ghana.They offer additional services specialty dishes that are cooked daily and a warehouse for wholesale prices.
