Dr. Cassiel Ato Forson, Ghana’s newly appointed Finance Minister, has urged the staff of the Ministry of Finance to join forces in rebuilding the country’s economy. During his first meeting with the Ministry’s top management on January 23, 2025, Dr. Ato Forson emphasized the importance of collective effort in addressing Ghana’s economic challenges.
Accompanied by former Deputy Finance Minister Fifi Kwetey, Dr. Ato Forson expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to serve Ghana again, describing it as a privilege. He assured the staff that their primary focus would be on improving the lives of Ghanaians, with their needs being at the forefront of every decision.
The Minister outlined his key priorities, including job creation, prudent financial management, stabilizing the exchange rate, and reducing inflation. These goals, he believes, are crucial in restoring Ghana’s economic stability.
