Accra, Ghana – The National Democratic Congress (NDC) Youth Wing, in collaboration with the National Youth Working Committee, has launched a new initiative to facilitate voter verification. The initiative introduces a free code that allows individuals to check their voter details without any charges, unlike the Electoral Commission’s (EC) service which requires a fee of 50 pesewas.
The leadership of the NDC is urging all eligible voters to utilize this free service to verify and authenticate their names and details on the voter register. This move is part of the party’s broader strategy to ensure transparency and accuracy in the upcoming elections.
In a statement, the NDC emphasized the importance of collective effort in securing a victory for John Mahama (JM) and Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang. The party calls on its supporters to share this information widely, ensuring that everyone can verify their voter status without incurring any costs.
This initiative is seen as a significant step towards enhancing voter participation and confidence in the electoral process. By removing the financial barrier, the NDC aims to make it easier for more people to engage in the democratic process and ensure their voices are heard.
For more information on how to use the free voter verification code, supporters are encouraged to visit the NDC’s official website or contact their local party offices.
