In a remarkable show of solidarity and support, the New Jersey Branch of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) has generously donated $20,000 to the national party in Accra. This significant contribution was made during a special event held on November 1, 2024, at the party headquarters in Adabraka.
The donation was graciously received by the National Deputy General Secretary in charge of Finance & Administration, Hon. Barbara Serwaa Asamoah. The event was graced by the presence of notable figures, including the Director of International Relations, Hon. Alex Segbefia, and the NDC-USA Vice Chairman, Mr. Moses Klu Mensah.
The Chapter Chair’s office was kept well-informed about the Branch’s decision, the processes leading up to the donation, and the final outcome. This transparency underscores the Branch’s commitment to fostering unity and collaboration within the party.
Accompanying the donation were the receipt and a letter acknowledging the Branch’s efforts, further solidifying the importance of this contribution. Additionally, the New Jersey Branch ensured that the required percentages of dues and registration fees (for both Chapter and National) were remitted to the Chapter Treasurer.
