The National Democratic Congress (NDC) manifesto launch is scheduled for today, August 24, 2024, at the University of Education, Winneba, in the Central Region .
The event, attended by party bigwigs and supporters, marks the first step towards the party’s goal of “resetting” the country and addressing challenges that have held it back for too long.
Former President and NDC flagbearer, John Dramani Mahama, emphasized the need for a new direction, promising to bring justice, jobs, and prosperity to every corner of the nation. The manifesto launch is seen as a critical step in the NDC’s efforts to return to power, with a focus on solution-based policies to address key challenges.
The NDC has a history of launching manifestos that have shaped the country’s development agenda, from restoring stability after military rule to promoting economic reforms and infrastructure development. This year’s manifesto is expected to draw significant attention, particularly from the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), which launched its own manifesto last week.
With the 2024 elections looming, the NDC is presenting itself as the party best equipped to lead Ghana into a new era of development, with a focus on justice, jobs, and prosperity. The manifesto launch marks the beginning of the party’s journey towards “resetting” Ghana and building a better future for all citizens.
