The National Apprenticeship Programme (NAP) was successfully launched in Tamale, marking a significant step towards reducing unemployment in the country. The program aims to provide free technical and vocational training to young people, enabling them to start their own businesses.
The initiative is part of President John Dramani Mahama’s plan to empower the youth and promote nation-building. By providing young people with the skills and knowledge they need to succeed, the program is expected to have a positive impact on the country’s economic development.
The National Youth Authority (NYA) will lead the program and ensure that its goals are met. The authority will work to implement the program effectively, providing young people with the support and resources they need to succeed.
Young people are encouraged to take advantage of the program to acquire technical or vocational skills and contribute to the nation’s growth. By participating in the NAP, young people will be equipped with the skills and knowledge they need to start their own businesses and secure a brighter future for themselves and their communities.
