The Minority Leader in Parliament, Alexander Kwamena Afenyo-Markin, has expressed profound grief over the tragic loss of eight Ghanaians in a military helicopter crash. The victims include Defence Minister Dr. Edward Omane Boamah, Environment Minister Dr. Alhaji Ibrahim Murtala Mohammed, and other notable figures.
Afenyo-Markin described the incident as a devastating accident that has claimed precious lives, including dedicated public servants who gave their all in service to Ghana. He paid tribute to the victims, highlighting their commitment to their work and their country.
The Minority Leader extended his sincere condolences to the President and the grieving families of the victims, pledging the Minority’s support during this difficult time. He called on Ghanaians to honor the memories of the deceased by working together to build a more united and prosperous nation.
