Kojo Boakye, Vice President of Public Policy at Meta Platforms Inc., paid a courtesy call on Samuel Nartey George, Minister for Communication, Digital Technology and Innovations. The meeting was about how Meta can support Ghana’s digital growth.

The discussion centered around how Meta can support Ghana’s digital growth, leveraging its expertise in artificial intelligence and technologies. With Meta’s Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp being used in Ghana, the Minister explored opportunities for cooperation in these fields.

Ghana is seeking to bridge the digital gap, and partnerships with tech companies like Meta are part of this effort. Sade Dada, Head of Public Policy, Anglophone West Africa, was also present at the meeting.
