ZEBILLA, UPPER EAST REGION- Former President John Dramani Mahama’s #Mahama4Change2024 campaign tour in the Upper East Region took a significant turn on its second day, as he engaged in a fruitful interaction with traditional leaders, queen mothers, and Christian and Muslim leaders in the Zebilla constituency.
During the meeting, Mr Mahama emphasized the importance of building a united country, where development is inclusive and relevant to the needs of all citizens. He reassured the gathering of his commitment and that of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) to work collaboratively towards resetting the country’s trajectory.
Mr Mahama highlighted the notable achievements of previous NDC administrations and his extensive personal experience, which he believes will be instrumental in creating a brighter future for all Ghanaians. He stressed the crucial role of traditional leaders, religious leaders, and community members in implementing effective policies and initiatives that address the people’s needs.
The interaction was characterized by a sense of unity and shared purpose, as Mahama and the leaders discussed ways to strive towards a more inclusive and prosperous Ghana. The former President expressed gratitude for the opportunity to engage with the people and looks forward to continuing the dialogue as they work together to build the Ghana they desire.
With the campaign slogan #LetsBuildGhanaTogether, Mahama remains confident that collective efforts can bring about the change Ghana deserves, and he is committed to making it a reality.
