As President-elect John Dramani Mahama prepares to take office on January 7, 2025, he’s wasting no time in strengthening Ghana’s relationships with neighboring countries. Recently, he met with Togo’s President Faure Gnassingbé to emphasize the importance of regional cooperation.
Mahama highlighted the many connections between Ghana and its neighbors, including shared tribes, histories, and economies. By working together, he believes they can make a more significant impact on the lives of their people.
This visit marks the beginning of Mahama’s efforts to build stronger regional ties. As he prepares to take the reins, he’s signaling his commitment to collaboration and cooperation with Ghana’s neighbors.
