John Dramani Mahama, flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), joined other dignitaries at a memorial mass for the late Ivorian President, Henri Konan Bedie.
Mr Mahama took to social media to share his experience, saying he felt privileged to pay his last respects. According to him, President Alhassane Ouattara praised Bedie’s significant contributions to Cote d’Ivoire’s history during his tribute.
Mr Mahama extended his condolences to the late president’s family, saying, ‘My thoughts and prayers are with his family and loved ones during this difficult time. Rest in peace, President Bedie.
